Walter Chen: How to Work Quietly
I don’t know if you are like me or not, but I can’t create with music or people talking in the background. I have to have quiet in order to “plumb the depths” to create. I mean, if music is playing, I can’t hear you speak…Seriously, I can’t hear you because my mind is focused on the music or conversation going on. It has always been a problem for me–always seemed like a curse. But, silence is my creative friend.
Walter Chen hit it on the head with this “How to Work Quietly” excerpt of his book What You Don’t Know about Marketing: How to take back Your Workday. Please take a listen and reclaim your work day. Also, listen till the end and give me your opinion on my prospective new podcast based on Walter’s concept and proof.
